Stupor Bowl Video # 1 ~ Goal Line Stand ...

Randy "Where's the" Lovelace - the newest neighbor in Traditions drives on an end around headed towards the lake and a touchdown. Marty "give it the" Gassner tries to lead the way but everyone is taken out by Roger "Brick House" Alford and a pileup ensues as the goal line defense stands!

Kevin "Rumblin' Reeves goes for a long break away gainer with Jason Kilgore leading the way blocking. Looks like Keith "I'm not the" Marshall gets him with the 2 hand touch - but gets planted for his trouble... And why is it you can hear my stupid voice across the entire field - "NO, NO, NO!"

Bo "Thunder" Reeves about to go for a big gainer but his blocking breaks down and Luke "Dash" Wells comes in the backfield for big loss.

Stupor Bowl Video # 4 ~ Playin' Possum Route ...

QB Chris "Phenom" Brown gets chased out of the pocket by the speedy Luke "Dash" Wells. Nice gainer completion to Kevin "Big Foot" Reeves, and defender Jim "Geriatric" Wells uses the "scare the crap out of the receiver" defense. Kevin apparently drops in fright - but it is actually the "possum" pattern - where he would get and run after the car goes by...

Stupor Bowl Video # 5 ~ The Wells Wave...

Dad Mike "Slow hand" Quinton was prophetic as he yells - "Get Wells! Pick up Wells!" as father and son Jim and Luke Wells combine for the big defense play to as the Wells Wave pass rush washes over son Michael "Quick" Quinton in the backfield - although Luke get a knee to the nose for his trouble. Great play nonetheless!

Michael was to get his revenge later scoring on a long touchdown pass over Mr. Wells...

Stupor Bowl Video # 6 ~ Steer Roping...

Classic ~ Chris "Phenom" Brown breaks another run for a big gainer until Jim "Junkyard Dawg" Wells finally corrals him and steer ropes him for almost the 8 seconds - waiting for someone to pull the flag!~ When he miraculously pitches to Mike "I am Dan Marino" Quinton (watch how long Mike is standing there saying "I'm behind ya! I'm behind ya!) for the break away touchdown! Much laughing and fun here ...

Stupor Bowl Video # 7 ~ Pirates on Defense...

QB Jim "Jellatin" Wells fakes and pitches to Luke "Bulldog" Wells for a decent gainer - but the best part of this video is to replay it over and over again and listen - not sure if that was David "Commander" Shalikashvili or the Tazmanian Devil on defense trying to bust up the play... some think it might have been Mike "Drinkin'" Quinton doing his best pirate impression - AAARRRGGGH Matey!

Stupor Bowl Video # 8 ~ Forward pass or not?

QB Jason "Killer" Kilgore throws a forward pass (unfortunately we don't have 24 other views like the Steelers did to get those touchdowns in the SuperBowl) to Chris "Twinkle Toes" Brown who throws a 2nd forward pass ;-) to Kevin "Rumblin' Reeves for a nice gainer. Braden "I didn't" Askew makes the stop - with a LOT of contact.

Replay was inconclsive and the play on the field stands!

QB Chris "Chiropractor's Dream" Brown gets flushed out of the pocket ~ AGAIN ~ by that dashing young Luke "Rocket" Wells, and he is unable to complete the pass to Jason "Receiver in a Lineman's body" Kilgore. Hey, didn't Chris call Luke out before the big event? Hmmm....

QB Mason "Monstor" Williams tries to get off the quick snap as Luke "Dash" Wells comes around. Austin "Mountain Man 12-year old" and Bo "Bull Rush" Reeves bear down on him but Mason almost completes to Michael Quinton but Cole Alford and Nicholas Bergeron fend him off in the endzone. The kids had a blast on their own - and then some of them joined the BIG GAME!

FOOD ~

Bring "tailgating style" food your family enjoys
and an appetizer or dessert to share ~

We'll have waters ~ BYOB favorite beverage!

Please let us know if you need a grill or if you plan to bring one and need any gas

FOOTBALL ~
Flag football for adults (yes ladies can play if they like). We'll be playing from 1:00 until 4:30 - 5:00(?) So come early or late. We may have 3 or even 4 teams and rotate both people and teams in and out.
 
FAMILY ~
Kids will have a game going as well - flag football ~ ages probably around 6 to 7 up to 12 or 13. We have another "football" style game for younger kids.
 
FUN ~

Bring your favorite tailgating chairs (and tents if you like!) - we'll set these up with a great view of the fields. Home will be open so enjoy inside and out. If any one has small space heaters, please bring as well - although WEATHER is SUPPOSED TO BE AWESOME!

The Battle of the Has-Beens vs the Wanna-Be's...

On the frozen tundra (let's hope it's not that cold) there will be an epic battle between two juggernauts, teams made of up of grid iron warriors ... no this is not the Super Bowl, it's the Stupor Bowl. Come on out and play some TWO HAND TOUCH football with your neighbors or cheer them on as we look to play some 8 on 8 football in the neighborhood. Tailgating ENCOURAGED! You'll still have time to get home and hit the showers before heading to any other game-watching parties. Call or email to get your spot on the team.
